FAQ
- How old do I have to be to apply to the Raymond Volunteer Fire Department?
- You have to be 18 Years of age to apply.
- How much training goes into being a Firefighter for Raymond?
- We typically have training once a week between Dive, Fire, Recruit and Medical. These trainings are 3 hours long.
- Do I have to be an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) to apply?
- You do not have to be an EMT to apply. We highly encourage you to obtain your EMT or look into EMR (Emergency Medical Responder)
- Do i have to have any firefighter experience to apply?
- No experience is required. You'll receive training in house on our training nights (Fire, Recruit and Medical).
